The University of Oregon Testing Office serves as an official test site for the General Educational Development Certificate, the GED. The GED offers the individual without a high school diploma a "second chance" at earning a high school equivalency certificate. Successful completion of the GED can enhance a person's employability as well as qualify them for admissions to Community College, University or other post-secondary educational programs.
