Week of Welcome 2016
Students attending the fall Week of Welcome program will be able to take placement tests prior to arriving to campus.
All freshmen are expected to take a math placement exam prior to attending orientation to assess your current readiness for college-level math. Additionally, placement scores provide academic advisors with the most up-to-date information prior to your first advising appointment.
Placement testing is provided for Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish languages. French, German, and Spanish language placement tests are available online and can be completed prior to arrival for Week of Welcome. Chinese and Japanese language placement testing will be available by appointment during the Week of Welcome. Students can register for the Chinese and Japanese placement tests using the "Register for a Test" button above.
All information about Week of Welcome placement testing can be found on the Orientation web site.
Online scheduling for Fall 2016 placement testing will open Sept. 6, 2016 .
Continuing U of OR students and CEP students can access the new math placement test from the Math Dept. WebWork site. Access to the site will require that you enter your Duck ID and password. If your log in is not successful you will need to contact Mike Price, Asst. Dept. Head, Dept. of Mathematics.
