Public Transportation

The Emerald Express (EmX) is Eugene's bus rapid transit system. Spacious, comfortable buses coming every 10–15 minutes during the week make it easier than ever to take the bus. The EmX Green Line, also known as EmX Eugene, runs from Commerce Station in West Eugene to Springfield Station in downtown Springfield. Running on Franklin Boulevard by the UO, the EmX is a useful route to get to campus destinations. Lane Transit District (LTD) has improved their website with trip planning tools and real-time bus information.

There is an EmX stop at the corner of Franklin Boulevard and Agate Street. If you exit the bus there, proceed south on Agate Street and turn right on 13th Avenue. The University Health Services building will be on your left. Please use the entrance on 13th Avenue. The University Testing Center is located on the second floor.

Parking

Parking at the University of Oregon can be challenging. During the week, Monday–Friday, all University of Oregon parking rules are in effect.

Parking Options

Please see the Transportation Services website for all parking options. They have day permits available to purchase online as well as maps of the hourly parking and parking garages on campus. They have a visitor parking map available on their website.

The University Testing Center is located not far from the Matthew Knight Arena garage. Please be aware that rates and availability vary during events and are determined by the University of Oregon Athletics Department.

If you purchase a visitor permit we recommend parking in Lot 4 or Lot 33 as they are closest staff/faculty lots on campus. Please be aware that Lot 37 is all reserved parking and is usually not available for visitor permits.
